The projector is used in Kindergarten to buid an "imagier" - a student's personal dictionary, to keep through 2nd grade. Each new word is illustrated by an image and placed in this personal binder. The projector is used to show the association between images and written words. Our kindergarteners cut out the image from a selection and then paste it on a grid to, afterwards write down the corresponding word.
The projector is a great tool allowing the use of images, so important to acquire vocabulary!

Vanessa Sirault, who is among the artists who decorated our preschool yard walls with Van Gogh, Magritte, Degas, Monet and other well known artists is our art instructor for extra-curricular activities of this second semester K through 5th. Her classes are on Fridays from 3:45 to 4:45 in the multipurpose room.

Vanessa was invited by madame Nuta into our third grade class last week to show a few techniques used in art. Here are some results of our students' work!
